Angola: Football Federation List a Candidate Ready to Support Revitalisation

The Asutifi District Health Directorate in Brong-Ahafo recorded 75,762 cases of malaria in 2010, Dr. Richard Henneh, District Director of Health Services has disclosed. He said the disease also topped the Out Patient Department (OPD) cases in the various health facilities in the district in that year.

Benguela — List A candidate to the chair of the Angolan Football Federation (FAF), Pedro de Morais Neto, Thursday in central Benguela said he is ready to support projects seeking revitalisation and reaffirmation of local soccer.

Pedro Neto, a former first division 1º de Agosto club president, was speaking at a meeting with Benguela’s clubs, sports managers and agents, meant for the presentation of his programme in the race to FAF chair for which election will take place on June 16.

The candidate said should he win the election he would be ready to support and safeguard the history of Benguela’s football as a way of developing the local athletes.

He said reaffirmation of football in Benguela could stimulate the emergence of new talents with great potential.
