Khartoum — President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, Thursday received a written message from the President of the Central African Republic, François Bozizé, dealing with the bilateral relations and cooperation between the two courtiers in the field of transport and transportation.
This came when the President of the Republic Thursday received in his office at the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers Thursday the State Minister at the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation of Central African Republic, Parfait Anicet Mbaye, who stressed the importance of the outcome of the tripartite summit of the Presidents of Sudan, Chad and Central Africa Republic, which was held recently in Khartoum for boosting peace and development of the regionThe minister said that he admired the great development and capabilities of Port-Sudan as well as its strategic location at the Red Sea. He stressed the importance of the project of linking Nyala -Umdafoug by railways, describing the project as vital and strategic for both Sudan and the Central African Republic, besides implementing the ground road linking the two countries. The State Minister at the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation of the Central African Republic stressed the importance of resuming regular flights of Sudan Airways between Khartoum and Bangui.
