Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin has admitted that he could lose one of this season’s key players for the 2011-12 campaign, but remains hopeful of keeping the team together.

The Udine side finished fourth in Serie A and will now compete in the qualifying stage of the Champions League next season.

However, a number of players, including attacker Alexis Sanchez and Gokhan Inler, have attracted the attention of major European clubs and could depart in the summer.

Although club president Giampaolo Pozzo has insisted he will not be forced to sell the team’s big stars, Guidolin stated to La Corriere dello Sport: “Pozzo is an intelligent man and he will know what to do for the good of Udinese.

“I don’t think the team will be dismantled, even though there are many offers for our players, and perhaps one of them might end up leaving for a great club.”

Reports indicate that the most likely player to leave Udinese in the summer will be Chile international Sanchez, who has been linked with a host of clubs including Chelsea, Manchester City and Inter.

Furthermore, midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah is allegedly on the radar of AC Milan, with a potential swap deal involving Rodney Strasser being mooted in the Italian media.
