Luanda — The Ministry of culture is promoting as from Tuesday a cycle of activities such as workshops, cycle of theatre and cinema, in the framework of the celebrations of Africa Day, to be marked on Wednesday 25 May, Angop learnt.
According to a press note from the Ministry of Culture released to Angop on Tuesday, the activity is opening with the holding of a workshop under the theme “Cinquenta Anos de Independencia: Que Caminhos para Africa”, being run by the lecturers Francisco Cruz and Jean-Martial Mbah.
The workshop will be moderated by the director of the National Cultural Industries Institute, António Fonseca.
In the ambit of the celebrations of Africa Day, a concert of African Music will also be organised in Cazenga’s Historic Monument in Luanda with the participation of the Angolan singers Wiza, Dodó Miranda and Kanda.
