Luanda — An exhibition of document and material produced for the conservation of biodiversity is going to be promoted on Saturday in Luanda by the Ministry of Environment.
According to a press note released to Angop on Saturday, the event is part of the International Biodiversity Day to be marked on 22 May.
The document reads that the event is happening under the theme “The forests to the local community service”.
On the fringes of the exhibition, the Ministry of Environment is holding an open workshop on the importance of the forest and cleaning of Luanda Island forest, aimed at educating and sensitising the population, as well as highlight the importance of the forests in the survival of the local communities.
