Chelsea‘s Patrick van Aanholt has penned a four-year deal at Stamford Bridge, keeping him with the club until 2015.
The 20-year-old Dutchman has returned to the club following a loan-spell at Leicester City and is expected to be back-up to first-choice left-back Ashley Cole at the club next season.
Van Aanholtl scored against Newcastle in the Carling Cup during his first start for the club back in September, having made his debut as a substitute in 2009/10.
He made three starts in total and five sub appearances before moving to Leicester on loan in January where he made 12 appearances for Sven-Goran Eriksson’s side, scoring once.
