‘I’m not going back to London’ – Jamie O’Hara keen to secure Wolves move after confirming fee agreed with Tottenham

Wolves’ on loan midfielder Jamie O’Hara has stated that he wants to makes his move permanent from Tottenham as he has settled into life in the Midlands.

The Englishman has spent a number of spells on loan away from Spurs and it now appears the former England under-21 star has finally settled at Wolves.

He told the club’s official website: “There’s a deal on the table and Wolves need to say they want me.

“A fee has been agreed with Tottenham, but the deal has got to be done within a week.

“That’s up to the chairman and gaffer to see what they want to do. I want to stay. Hopefully the gaffer will want me to stay.

“Hopefully I’ll be speaking to him over the next week or so and get something sorted.”

The midfielder scored three goals in his loan spell, including the first in their 3-2 defeat to Blackburn Rovers on Sunday, and he admits that he does not want to move back to London.

He added: “I’m happy here and I’m not going back to London. I’m staying here until I know what’s going on.

“I’ve moved out of my house and I’m not planning on going back to London. Moving up here was the best thing we ever did.”
