    Mogadishu — The state minister of defense of Somalia interim federal government on Friday publicly talked about the detention of Barre Hirale, Somali parliamentarian, by the military forces of Ethiopia.

    Abdi Mohamoud Abdidon, Somalia’s minister of defense said the officials of foreign ministry are hectic in how they help release the Somali lawmaker in Ethiopia hands.

    He said that the MP and other Somali government officials are in house arrest in a bid to lessen their movements.

    But, the government official declined to give further details about why they were apprehended.

    Weeks ago Ethiopian military has captured a number of Somali officials including one MP in Gedo region for untold reasons.
