A woman has filed a $10m claim against Michael Jackson’s estate, claiming the King Of Pop gave her herpes in 1979. Shellie Smith states in legal documents: “I started having sexual relations with the decedent. Shortly thereafter, I began to get blisters on my legs, face and lips. He was my only partner.” Smith claims the STD allegedly given to her by Jackson ruined her life.
“At this time, I am unable to have a full and vibrant life due to the complications of this disease,” she states. It is not the first time Smith has tried to claim money from the Jackson estate. She filed a second claim with different facts, stating she began having sex with Michael in 1977 and was diagnosed with herpes simplex.
And in January 2010, she filed another claim saying she and Jackson were secretly married. Smith submitted a claim at the time saying she was entitled to spousal support — but the claim was rejected.
