Wolves maintained their Premier League status in dramatic fashion despite a final-day defeat by Blackburn.

Midland rivals Birmingham’s 2-1 defeat by Tottenham guaranteed Wolves’ place in the top-flight for next season.

The visitors took a 3-0 half-time lead courtesy of goals from Jason Roberts, Brett Emerton and David Hoilett.

Wolves hit back in the second half with goals as Jamie O’Hara and Stephen Hunt before the full-time whistle sparked scenes of celebrations around Molineux.
