Footballer acts against Twitter

Legal proceedings are being taken by a professional footballer against Twitter.

The player, identified only by the initials CTB, is also known to be taking action against the Sun newspaper and ex-Big Brother star Imogen Thomas.

He has lodged papers in the High Court against “Twitter Incorporated and persons unknown”.

The contents of the application have not been made public at this stage. Twitter has refused to comment.

Lawyers at Schillings who represent CTB have also yet to respond to requests for comment.
