PNU has now gone to court seeking to reverse an earlier ruling by the high court stopping the Kamukunji by-elections. The party says it will go on campaigning for its candidate Yusuf Hassan. Narc Kenya has also gone to court to seek compensation for its Kamukunji by-election candidate after the high court stopped the exercise. Party secretary general Danson Mungatana says the court ruling amounts to a coup of democracy.
