Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini remains unsure of striker Carlos Tevez’s future at Eastlands after the Argentine reportedly told media in his home country that he wanted to leave the club.

The former Manchester United man admitted to a radio station in his home country that he wishes to leave the FA Cup winners in the summer.

This came after Mancini claimed Tevez had come to him following the 3-0 win against Stoke on Tuesday and said that he is looking to stay on with the Citizens.

Mancini told reporters on Friday: “I don’t want to answer a question about Carlos because we don’t finish this situation.

“I think that it’s better for us that we focus on the next game that is really important for us and after we can speak about Carlos, but not today.

“I don’t think it will be his last game. I said my opinion that he will stay and I am sure but I can’t continue to answer this question in every press conference, it’s difficult.”

Meanwhile, the former Inter Milan boss joked about reports that the club were planning a sensational £158 million bid to bring Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo back to the Premier League.

“Yes. We will sign Cristiano Ronaldo for £200 million,” the former Inter coach quipped.

“I think so I am joking. I don’t know why this has come out. I don’t know anything about this. Cristiano Ronaldo is a fantastic player but I don’t think he will leave Real Madrid.

“I said after the FA Cup final, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Cesc Fabregas, Andres Iniesta if it’s possible, but I don’t think it’s possible.”
