Taiwo Ade Alagbe, acting principal magistrate of the Banjul Magistrates Court, on Wednesday ordered the transfer of the murder case involving five National Drug Enforcement Agency officers, namely Ebou Lowe, Eku PL Grant, Abdoulie MK Jallow, Matarr Conteh and Modou C. Jaw.
When the case was called, police prosecutor sgt 3238 Manga applied for the case to be transferred to the Special Criminal Court since it is a capital offence. His application was granted by the presiding magistrate and the court further ordered that the accused persons be remanded in custody.
