Financial Analyst Jobs in Ghana: Plato Consult Limited

The Financial Analyst shall be responsible for providing proactive financial analysis and support to the company’s commercial business units.  The financial analysts will however be aligned to each of the commercial business units to support them on all financial matters. The role reports to the  Senior Financial Analyst.

The role has the following responsibilities.

• Assist senior financial analyst in development of business cases
• Self contained pieces of commercial analysis in support of business cases
• Build excel-based business case models
• Populating user-friendly reports demonstrating detailed revenue analysis by segment
• Provide financial and non-financial information to stakeholders
• Contribute actively to periodic forecasting cycles on behalf of the business units
• Work on a matrix basis with the financial planning & analysis team to deliver approved forecast for the business units
• Provide monthly variance and trend explanations for business performance to the FP&A team as part of their reporting to Senior Management and Group

Required Skills or Experience

Role specific qualification;

• Qualified/part qualified accountant (ACCA or CA) working towards full qualification or MBA
• Degree educated in finance or any business related field
• At least 5 years work experience
• A finance background from within the telecoms industry would be a distinct advantage due to technical complexity of the environment
• A demonstrable track record of building commercially oriented business cases, again ideally in a telecoms environment
• Planning and forecasting experience a distinct advantage
• Ability to work on adhoc projects at short notice and tough time schedules
