Khartoum — The Presidential Advisor and Rapporteur of the Higher Council for Investment, Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail, has welcomed the Arab investments in Sudan and affirmed the readiness of the government to extend all assistance to Manajem International Mining Company of the Kingdom of Morocco.
This came when Dr. Ismail received at his office Tuesday a delegation of Manajem International Company, headed by Chairman of Board of Directors Abdul-Aziz Abbarou, Chairman of Board of Directors of the Future University, Prof. Abu-Bakr Mustafa, and the General Director of the university, Yousif Al-Hajam.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of Board of Directors, Abdul Aziz Abbarou, said in a statement to SUNA that the meeting with the Presidential Advisor came as part of their visit to Sudan to review horizon of investment in mining sector in Sudan.
He said that the government has accorded the company a license for exploration at blocks (15) and (20), explaining that the preliminary results of exploration are very encouraging.
He announced that they are expected to produce around 2 – 3 tons of gold in Nahral-Neil State by advent of the year 2013, expressing the company’s gratitude and appreciation of the facilities accorded by Sudan government to the company in the fields of mining.
Meanwhile, Prof. Abu-Bakr Mustafa explained that Manajem Company has a wide experience in the fields of mining and operating in seven African countries.
