Korle Bu Teaching Hospital Ghana: Medical Officers Job Vacancies (Massive Recruitment)

The Korle Bu Teaching Hospital is the primary health care facility in Ghana. It is the only tertiary hospital in the southern part of Ghana and it is also a teaching hospital affiliated with the medical school of the University of Ghana .The hospital is currently being run by Prof. Nii Otu Nartey. The first kidney transplant in the region was undertaken in November 2008

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the under listed vacancies in various Departments of the Hospital.
Medical Officers:

• Child Health
• Accident & Emergency
• Plastic & Burns
• ENT
• Anaesthesia
• Psychiatry
• Clinical Genetics
• Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine

Required Skills or Experience

Applicants must have finished their House Jobs and be eligible for full registration.

• Successful applicants will be sponsored by KBTH for Specialist Training in the areas chosen. They will be exempted from the requirement of mandatory Rural posting before application of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons
• Successful applicants who qualify would be considered for full time engagement with the Teaching Hospital on completion of Training
