Minority Leader Complains of Use of Military And Project Truck to Transport Voters to Kiang West

The Minority Leader and member for Kiang west, Hon Momodou Sanneh approached this reporter on Tuesday 10th May 2011 at Farato to give information that he was called by his agents at Keneba and Borong to inform him that a military truck with registration number GAF 100 and a white truck which is a project vehicle under, the Ministry of Agriculture with registration number KF13TA, on Saturday 7th May, 2011 transported APRC Supporters from the Greater Banjul Area to be registered in his constituency.

This reporter started his investigation on the issue by enquiring from the Armed Forces in order to find out whether they have a truck with registration number GAF 100 and to enquire other matters that would be of public interest. However, this reporter was told at the Gambia Armed Forces Headquarter that the PRO had traveled and no one could comment on the matter. We will wait for the PRO who is expected back before the end of this week. This reporter will also approach the ministry of Agriculture for comments.

Attempts will be made to talk to the agents at Keneba and Borong and some of the people transported.
