Cabinda — The delegations that will participate in the sixth national meeting of professionals in the area of museums and the commemorations of the World Museum Day, which the northern Cabinda Province will host on 17-18 May, started arriving in this region this Monday.
According to the programme of the event, which ANGOP has had access to, the Culture minister, Rosa Cruz e Silva, is expected in Cabinda City on Tuesday to preside over the opening ceremony.
For two days, the participants will discuss themes like “general status of museums”, “Draft-law on museums”, and “Computerisation of museum information and training”, among other topics.
The programme also includes visits to the Regional Museum of Cabinda, the place where slaves used to be gathered named Chinfuca, as well as the holding of lecture in the ambit of the World Museum Day.
The event is to be attended by over 60 delegates from all over the country, as well as guests from different sectors.
