Mogadishu — Some of Somali parliamentarians on Saturday called for holding the ordinary sessions of the parliament.
Ali Mohamoud Farah, a lawmaker, said in an interview with Shabelle Media Network that the leadership of the parliament has not imparted any motions or agendas to the parliament to discuss.
Mr. Farah noted that the parliament needed to discuss how to solve the internal worsening wrangle within the government executive and legislative branches.
Abdurrahman Kulmiye, another legislator, said that there are committees in charge of imparting the agendas to the parliament.
Since February when Somali parliament voted its own tenure to be extended by three years, top Somali leaders have disagreed as political crisis were worsening in the last few months.
