Tottenham forward Roman Pavlyuchenko has made a plea to manager Harry Redknapp to secure his future at the North London team.
The 29-year-old who joined Spurs in 2008 insists he wants to commit his future to the club after he expressed his wishes to leave the club several times during the past three seasons.
According to News of the World, the Russian player’s agent Oleg Artemov will be travelling to London to negotiate the terms of his contract which is due to end in 2013, with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.
Other Premier League teams such as Newcastle and Sunderland as well as Anzhi Makhachkala and the player’s former club Spartak Moscow have all shown interest in recruiting the player.
However, Artemov said: “Roman wants to stay at Tottenham. In a couple of weeks I plan to meet the management of the club.
“We will discuss his future. Roman has a Spurs contract and we want to prolong it.
“We will not even consider any other offers yet.”
