Concert to Mark Africa’s Day Gathers Singers Of ’70s

Luanda — A musical show called Africa-Delic will be held on May 20 at Theatre Elinga in Luanda with the participation of the musician Mamukueno.

The guest artist will be backed up by some members of groups Jovens do Prenda, Aguias Reais, FAPLA Povo, Kissanguelas and Os Bongos.

Directed by Mano Mano Productions and the German Cultural Institute, the event will feature instrumentalists Carlitos Timothy (low speed), Abana Major (congas), Chico Montenegro (bongos) and Raul Tolingas (reco-reco).

Speaking to Angop, on the purpose of the show, the spokesman of the organization, Otiniel Fernandes da Silva, said that this connection is called “Conjunto 70”.

The event also will be attended by DJs of Analog Africa producer (Analog Africa Soundsystem DJ Set), headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany.
