Soyo — The Deputy Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technologies, Pedro Sebastião Teta, highlighted on Tuesday in Soyo district in the northern Zaire province the importance of the media libraries in the education process of the future generations.
Pedro Sebastião Teta, who is also the executive co-ordinator of the Angolan Media Library Network (REMA), said that the project contributes to the researches that will enable the socio-economic development of the country.
The official said so to the press on Tuesday while adressing the ceremony of presentation and laying of the foundation stone of the referred project.
According to Pedro Sebastião Teta, this ceremony marks the beginning of materialising an idea that was studied and adapted to the Angolan reality.
On the occasion, the provincial governor of Zaire, Pedro Sebastião, expressed the pride of the local youths and population for this initiative, by recognising that it is a great benefit for the access of Internet.
