Fulham manager Mark Hughes insists he has no intention of leaving the club after rumours linked him to a move away from Craven Cottage.

The Welshman is adamant he will be at Fulham next season this is despite Hughes and backroom members Eddie Niedzwiecki and Mark Bowen contracts running out on June 1.

According to reports in The Sun, the manager and his staff have clauses in their contracts which mean they can leave for nothing.

But Hughes, despite being linked with a move to Chelsea if Carlo Ancelotti was to lose his job, has declared he is happy at the club.

“I’m very happy at Craven Cottage and am looking forward enormously to building on what we have achieved this season,” he said in a statement released on the club’s official website.

“I enjoy a good relationship with the owner, management, players and supporters of Fulham Football Club and look forward to continuing that relationship next season.”

Hughes has guided Fulham to a mid table position and safety after they lay perilously close to the relegation zone at Christmas.
