Once again Mr. Quashigah shows that his understanding of propaganda is that it is to tell lies.
Mr. Quashigah states there was no proper accounting of the monies donated to the victims. This is a lie. The monies raised were fully and properly accounted for.
If Mr. Quashigah is truly interested in finding out what the monies collected were and are being used for, instead of trying to score cheap political points, then he should contact the Trust that was put in place to look after the victims and their dependants, which continues to do so till this day.
All these are matters in the public domain. They have nothing to do with the Late King of Dagbon and twenty nine others (not forty as Mr. Quashigah falsely states).
I find it absolutely crass that at the time when memories of the disaster, including my own, (because I was there), are most raw, Mr. Quashigah comes with another attempt to lower the politics of Ghana and place our matters squarely in the gutter.
Just a few days ago President Mills told the nation the he abhors and will not tolerate the politics of lies, slander and insults. He said this while surrounded by those who regularly abuse and lie against others on his behalf.
President Mills if you are serious about wanting clean politics in Ghana then here is your opportunity to put your money where your mouth is. Sanction Quashigah the liar. Just for once let your action support your words.
