Luanda — The Luanda governor, José Maria dos Santos, Tuesday in Luanda, received the Mozambican minister of Tourism, Fernando Sumbana, with whom he discussed issues related to exchanges between the cities of the two countries’ capitals.
The audience held on the sidelines of the International Forum on Tourism taking place in Luanda, was attended by Angolan deputy minister of Hotels and Tourism, Joao Paulino Baptista, and the ambassador of Mozambique, Antonio Matonse.
During the meeting, the governor considered the possibility of tourist activities in Mozambique with the involvement of ex-combatants and motherland veterans and elderlies. The 28th General Assembly of the Union of Portuguese Speaking Capital Cities (UCCLA) and Business Forum on Tourism opened Tuesday in Luanda.
At the first working session, the participants focused on the international tourism forum, exchange of experience and accords of cooperation among various tourist agents, for a quality tourism exploration.
