Luanda — The vice minister of Justice, João Alves Monteiro, said Monday in Luanda that despite the improvements that have been recorded, the courthouses in Huila Province are still in need of investment.
João Alves Monteiro said so to ANGOP, at the Luanda airport, after returning to Luanda from Huila Province.
In Huila, the vice minister delivered a lecture on the theme Criminal Prevention Measures, Service Supply to Community and Assisted Freedom.
He spoke in the ambit of a workshop promoted by the Ministry of Welfare and Social Reintegration, the Unicef and the local authorities.
“I seized the occasion of my visit to Huila to check the justice organs, such as notary offices and courthouses, although it was a quick visit it was fruitful (…)” he explained.
The vice minister manifested his dissatisfaction at the present accommodation conditions for judges that work in Huila Province, adding that there is a need to invest in more justice infrastructures.
He also informed that in two months’ time it will be inaugurated a new provincial Civil and Criminal Identification Department of Huila.
