Speaking on Metro TV’s ‘Good Morning Ghana,’ the MP said he had evidence that the ring worn by President Mills during the 2008 election was not an ordinary ring, but had spiritual powers that enabled him to achieve victory over his main challenger in the 2008 poll, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, of the NPP.
The President has since stopped wearing the said ring, he alleged.
In a subsequent interview with Citi News, Mr Nitiwul repeated the allegation and quoted un-named insiders within the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) party to back his allegation against a man who has made the word of God the very foundation of his administration.
‘President Mills wore a ring during the electioneering campaign, he didn’t wear it before and he hasn’t worn it after. I am just relaying information from their own side of the political divide that is alleging that it is a magical ring…once trouble is brewing you expect these things to come up.”
Dominic Nitiwul said he “cannot fathom” why President Mills did not wear the said “magical ring” before the 2008 general elections and has not worn it since he was sworn in as President in 2009.
‘It is difficult to believe that you only wear a ring during the electioneering campaign and that is it. You leave yourself open for some of the things that are coming up from especially their own source.
‘When an NDC person tells me that this is the story, who am I to challenge him? The people who move with the President must come out to clear the air on this. We all know now and I can assure you that more things will come up,’ he said.
Still in the spiritual realm, a woman from the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Odorkor, a suburb of Accra, claims to have sighted the mark of the devil, 666, on some Ghanaian foreheads.
Eunice Dzidzor told Joy Fm yesterday that her testimony was real, God-sent and would have disastrous consequences if it was treated with contempt.
The symbol of ‘666’ in the Bible marks the beginning of end-time in which only the people with the mark of the beast will be allowed to buy and sell.
Revelations 13: 15-18 reads, “He was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.
He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man’s number. His number is 666.”
Madam Dzidzor’s testimony comes only weeks after a Kumasi based prophet Rev. Peter Anamo had predicted a catastrophe that would wipe out what he called unrighteous people off the surface of the Earth and would mark the end of the world.
Asked how credible her testimony was, Dzidzor said: ‘I am here just to make the world and Ghanaians know that the number 666 is real and it’s in town. And if we don’t take care, many people will perish. It is everywhere,’ she warned.
‘Just believe me,’ she said, insisting that she knew the 666 was in town ‘I pray and things happen. The mark is on the forehead of people.’
She denied having any hallucinations or attempting to cause fear and alarm.
