Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has made it clear that the Bundesliga champions are not looking to sell Mario Gotze in the summer transfer window.
The 18-year-old Germany international, who has been one of the revelations of the season, is reportedly attracting interest from Arsenal.
Watzke was quoted as saying by Bild: “Mario Gotze is not for sale at any price. We won’t even sell him for several oil fields.”
Gotze is a product of the Dortmund youth academy and has developed into a key player since making his debut in November 2009.
The youngster has scored six goals in 32 Bundesliga appearances this season and has set up another 11. He has climbed to 30th spot in the Castrol EDGE Rankings following his outstanding performances for the league champions.
