Paul Mccartney Announces Engagement To Nancy Shevell

Paul Mccartney is seventeen years older than Shevell, and having been friends for years, the pair began dating four years ago. However People Magazine now reveal, that the ‘Beatles’ star had proposed in New York last weekend.

The source said: ‘Nancy and Paul are getting married. Ring and all – very exciting. They have the right chemistry. They’re both cool, chilled out and optimistic.’

The news was then further confirmed by MCCartney’s spokesman Stuart Bell, giving a simple statement: ‘It’s true! We’re all thrilled for him.’ Paul’s children, from his first wife Linda, are all said to be very close to Shevell and that they have given their blessing.
