Tottenham goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa has expressed his dissatisfaction with life at White Hart Lane.

The Croatian, who featured for his country at the 2002 and 2006 World Cups, as well as Euro 2008, has played just one game for the club this season, in the 4-1 home defeat to Arsenal in the League Cup.

And now the keeper, who is on loan from Spartak Moscow, admits joining Harry Redknapp’s side was a mistake.

The 32-year-old was quoted as saying by The Sun: “Spurs assured me I would get a chance to compete with Heurelho Gomes to be No.1.

“Now, looking back, I realise that my move was a mistake.”
