This is one of those 40-minute movies they show at IMAX cinemas and it makes effective use of new technology to bring flying dinosaurs and their fascinating world to life.
Most of us know a bit about pteranodons and pterodactyls, but there are plenty more discoveries with which you are less likely to be familiar.

The gigantic quetzalcoatlus alone — the height of a giraffe with a wingspan of 40ft — is worth the admission cost.
Yet the film’s most refreshing aspect is introducing to the cinema a presenter who does his own writing, knows what he’s talking about and delivers information in a clear and vibrant manner.
His name, of course, is David Attenborough and he’s 85 on Sunday. Happy birthday, Sir David.
