Quite the contrary, says Alexander McQueen creative director Sarah Burton, who designed Kate’s stunning dress for her walk down the Westminster Abbey aisle.
“It was made for her and has a lot of her personality in it,” Burton told a group of shoppers Tuesday at a Saks Fifth Avenue event in New York City.
According to WWD, the designer revealed the princess was absolutely lovely to work with, telling one customer that the Duchess of Cambridge was really low maintenance and that the collaboration on the famed wedding dress between them was 50-50.
