Tuttosport had earlier claimed that Milan was keen on the 28-year-old Ghana international after CEO Adriano Galliani said on Tuesday he was building a squad to win the Champions League for next season.
Clarence Seedorf, Massimo Ambrosini and Andrea Pirlo all have deals which expire in June.
However, despite voices linking Essien with a San Siro shuffle, agent Fabien Piveteau said his client would remain at Chelsea.
“There is nothing true. I have not had any contact with Milan, and the player is happy with Chelsea where he intends to stay for the next three years,” the agent told Tuttomercatoweb.com.
“Everyone knows he is happy with Chelsea, and Chelsea are happy with him.”
Goal.com recently revealed how Essien was likely to stay at the Stamford Bridge club.
Essien has played 30 games for the Blues this term. Chelsea takes on Manchester United this weekend and the club sits just three points behind the league leaders.
