THE Arusha based Zara Tours Limited has joined the race to sponsor the Tanzania Sports Writers Association (TASWA) 2010 Sports Personality Awards.
The gala night is scheduled for Friday at the Movenpick Hotel in Dar es Salaam.
TASWA Secretary General Amir Mhando said on Friday that Zara Tours will offer a five-day trip for two to the ultimate winner to visit world’s famous national parks – Ngorongoro and Serengeti, with a view to promoting tourism in the country.
The winner will get a VIP hospitality while in the tour. “We thank Zara Tours Director, Zainab Ansell for her timely support. The winner will be accompanied by one sports journalist,” said Mhando.
The latest prize adds up to a grand prize of a brand new Toyota Cresta GX 100 that the ultimate winner will drive home, courtesy of the main sponsors Serengeti Breweries Limited (SBL).
The winner will also take home a decoder from MultiChoice Tanzania and a night free at the Movenpick Hotel.
