SW Radio Africa (London) Lance Guma 3 May 2011 Media rights group Reporters Without Borders (RSF) has said Robert Mugabe is among the seven worst 'press freedom predators' on the African continent. In a statement released Tuesday to mark World Press Freedom Day the group also named leaders Yahya Jammeh (Gambia), Issaias Afeworki (Eritrea), Teodoro Obiang Nguema (Equatorial Guinea), Paul Kagamé (Rwanda), King Mswati III (Swaziland) and Somalia's Islamist militias, Al-Shabaab and Hizb-Al-Islam.

Khartoum — The Secretary General of the People’s Congress Party, Dr. Hassan Abdulla Al-Turabi has affirmed that he received good treatment during his detention.

Al-Turabi called in press statements in his house at Al-Manshiya, Monday following his release for peaceful handling of power and more freedom for the people, adding that the disagreements with the National Congress are concentrated on the principles of Shoura, freedoms and decentralization.

Regarding Darfur, Dr.Al-Turabi has indicated that the Administrative Referendum scheduled for next July will not represent solution for the problem of Darfur but the issue should be solved through dialogue.
