Chiefs and people of Agona East in the Central Region are calling for the dismissal of the District Chief Executive who was only appointed two weeks ago by President John Mills.
They accuse Matin Luther Obeng of being arrogant and disrespectful.
Joy News’ Central Region Correspondent Richard Kojo Nyarko said the people will embark on a demonstration on Tuesday to mount pressure on the DCE to resign or be sacked by the president.
The demonstration will however be preceded by a press conference to be addressed by the chiefs, Nyarko stated.
According to the discontented residents, the DCE has been hounding the former DCE and organizing needless investigations against him.
They also accuse him of being rude to the chiefs and people of the area.
Clad in red attire and hand bands the residents hit the streets of the Agona East to register their protest.
One of the aggrieved residents told Joy News they dislike the DCE for causing lots of division in the area, adding if he should change his attitude they will be able to work with him.
