She thinks the couple’s very public romance – which ended at the beginning of April after 4 and a half months – didn’t seem real.

‘Whenever I’ve met Peter Andre I’ve thought he’s really sweet but his relationship with Elen Rivas seemed contrived,’ says Kimberley, 29.

‘If it was a showmance it’s really sad to go to those lengths.’

Pete, 38, and Elen, 36, met at manager Claire Powell’s birthday party in November and have vowed to remain friends since their split.
