Uige — At least 25 foreign citizens from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), living illegally in Maquela do Zombo district in the northern Uíge province, were repatriated on Sunday by the Migration and Foreign Services (SME).
This was said to Angop by the local official in charge of SME, Vicente Terra Nova.
According to him, nine women are included in this group tjhat were trying to entered Maquela do Zombo distric from Angola/DRC common border, so as to reach Luanda.
He said that the sector will continue to work hard in order to protect the common border against the entrance of illegal foreign citizens.
