Mogadishu — One of Somali lawmakers on Saturday spelled out that every rift between the leaders of Somali transitional federal government could be easily resolved.
Mowlid Ma’ane Mohamoud, a prominent Somali legislator, called for the Somali traditional elders to intervene and start efforts in mediating the top officials of the interim government.
Mr. Mohamoud went on to say that if this wrangle within the government continues, all Somali governmental institutions will be destroyed.
He also said the government should stop the successive decisions it is broadcasting through the mass media in an attempt to void further escalation of Somalia’s political stand off.
