KleinTools Pitches Camp In Ghana

Klein Tools, the world’s leading manufacturer of the finest hand tools, on Thursday announced its partnership with Ibistek, a Ghanaian company, to provide its products onto the Ghanaian market.

James Van Huis, Vice President, International Sales, Klein Tools, who was delivering a presentation to members of the Ghana National Association of Garages, representatives of utility companies and other private sector players, said the company manufactures more than 3,000 tools and accessories.

These include pliers, cable and bolt cutters, wire strippers, voice-data-video tools and testers, fish tapes, conduit benders, drill bits, insulated tools, gloves and many other high-quality products.

“Klein Tools’ dedication to quality and innovation continues with products available for professional tradesmen worldwide.

“Since 1857, the company, operated by Mathias Klein and his descendants to the fifth generation, has grown and developed along with the telecommunications and electrical industries where Klein pliers first found major usages.”

He said currently Klein Tools Incorporated represents much more than Klein’s pliers.

The company’s product line has broadened to include virtually every major type of hand tool used in construction, electronics, mining and general industry in addition to the electrical and telecommunications fields. Klein Tools also supplies a line of occupational protective equipment, which is exhibited in a separate catalog.

Internationally, Klein’s products are available around the world through a well-established network of agents and distributors who stock the products that are required for their particular markets.

Ibistek Limited, a wholly-Ghanaian owned entity, was formed in 2005.

The company is primarily engaged in providing turnkey engineering solutions in areas such as energy, telecommunications, civil infrastructure design and development.
