A host of A-list stars unwisely said ‘I do’ to very disastrous looks at the Costume Institute Benefit Gala in New York last night.
Naomi Campbell, Serena Williams and Black Eyed Peas star Fergie were among those who made the worst dressed list at the star-studded event, which was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The trio all opted for bizarre white confections that looked more like cheap bridal gowns than haute couture.

The night marked the opening of the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition and fashion veteran Naomi, 40, paid tribute by wearing a dress by the label.
But the overly ornate fringed design didn’t do her supermodel figure justice.
Tennis champion Serena, 29, failed to serve up an ace in her feathered strapless Oscar de la Renta gown and fascinator while Fergie, 36, hit a bum note in a fishtail gown by Marchesa.
Model Shalom Harlow’s structured Marchesa had enough swirls and twirls to make any onlooker dizzy while fans of Mad Men’s usually stylish Christina Hendricks may have been left disappointed by her rust-coloured organza gown by Carolina Herrera.

Christina Ricci revisited her Addams Family days in a Zac Posen gown that looked like a giant cobweb.

Still, the 31-year-old actress, who played precocious Wednesday Addams in the 1991 film adaptation, seemed rather pleased with her Gothic ensemble as she posed on the red carpet.
American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez, 41, spoilt an otherwise stylish halter-neck Gucci gown with a floral shrug.

The View’s Barbara Walters, 81, made few people green with envy in her unusual gown while Beyonce Knowles’ sister Solange overdid it with her curly hair.
Tonight’s ball is one of the biggest nights in the fashion calendar with a guest list that reads like a who’s who of Hollywood.
The Savage Beauty exhibition features the late designer’s iconic work and guests will be served a Scottish-themed dinner in the Temple of Dendur to represent McQueen’s Scottish roots.
