John Terry has hailed Chelsea‘s strength in depth in attack ahead of Sunday’s clash with Manchester United.

The Blues signed Fernando Torres for a Premier League record £50 million during the January transfer window, with Nicolas Anelka, Didier Drogba, Florent Malouda and Salomon Kalou already on their books.

Ahead of the potentially title deciding trip to Old Trafford, the skipper has fired a warning shot to their opponents over the firepower Carlo Ancelotti has at his disposal.

“It can be pretty daunting for opponents when they see us bringing on players like ‘Nando’ Torres, Didier, Nico, ‘Sala’ Kalou or Florent,” Terry said, according to The Sun.

“Those front five are so important to everything we are doing at the moment.

“Whoever plays up front is stepping up to the mark and for us to have a chance of winning the title we need those big guys always ready.

“Three lads start the game and the other two usually come on at some stage but there’s no arguing among the players and no disappointment.”

The west London outfit are currently three points behind United, but both sides have a plus 38 goal difference.

“It’s so tight at the top and the title could come down to goal difference,” Terry added.

“Florent, Sala and Didier have all rediscovered their shooting boots and that has come at just the right time for us.”
