Kuito — The minister of Mass Media, Carolina Cerqueira, is expected on Tuesday in the city of Kuito, central Bié province, for a 24-hour work visit aimed at learning about the functioning of the sector in the region.
ANGOP learnt from the official visit programme that minister Carolina Cerqueira will meet with the provincial governor of Bié, Álvaro Manuel de Boavida Neto, as well as with the local directors of the Public Television (TPA-EP), National Radio (RNA-EP), Angola daily newspaper (JA-EP) and of the Angola Press Agency (ANGOP-EP) and with workers of the sector.
The minister will also inaugurate news offices of the Angola Press Agency (ANGOP) and of the Angolan newspaper.
Carolina Cerqueira will also travel to the districts of Andulo and Nharea also with the purpose of getting acquainted with the sector’s functioning.
