    Coordinator, Environment, Human Settlements and Infrastructure – (ESS/11/04/08)

    Our client SAVANNAH ACCELERATED DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (SADA) is an independent agency mandated by the Government of Ghana to coordinate a comprehensive development agenda for the Northern Savannah Ecological Zone of Ghana. To achieve the agenda of promoting sustainable economic and social development, eradicating poverty, and improving quality of life, SADA seeks experienced professionals to join its senior management team.

    Your role:
    The successful candidate will report to the Director, Integrated Development Programmes. You will lead the conceptualisation and implementation of new model of sustainable environment management by integrating the development of strategic infrastructure with human settlements and the development of economic activities in an integrated manner

    Duty Location: Tamale and the Northern Savannah Area

     

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum of a Masters degree in engineering, environmental management, planning or related field
    • Member of recognized professional association
    • Minimum of 10 years relevant working experience; 5 of which should be at senior management level
    • Knowledge and experience in research methods and statistical procedures, and
    • Knowledge of relevant planning and zoning laws
    • Candidates must be literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications
