Seasoned campaigners Kibuli secured a slot in the Copa Coca-Cola Championship quarterfinals with 3-1 come-from-behind victory over Gulu College yesterday.
Mukhtar Sulaiman scored one and Luzinda Musti grabbed a brace for the Kampala representatives to overcome a 1-0 early setback.
Kibuli, who have won the premier schools title three times since 1998, are however still second in Group H and must defeat Lugazi Homeland today to go top and avoid meeting Mukono’s Mehta Secondary School. Mehta are in command of Group G following a hard-fought 1-0 win over Jinja Secondary School.
