Kieran Hyde’s injury-time penalty gave Wakefield a 26-24 victory over fellow strugglers Hull KR.

The home side led 8-6 after a tight first half, Ben Cockayne’s try for the visitors sandwiched in between tries for Kyle Amor and Chris Dean.

James Davey and Aaron Murphy stretched Wakefield’s lead to 14 points, before Kris Welham, Cockayne and Blake Green gave Hull KR a four-point lead.

Josh Griffin went over to level before Hyde won the match in dramatic fashion.
