Fans of African singer Salif Keita will be pleased to know that the popular afro-pop singer-songwriter from Mali will be performing in Lagos on Friday, May 6, 2011.
Organizers Effrakata Entertainment say they have put this show together ‘in a bid to satisfy diplomatic corps, upper level business executives and the expatriate community who are ardent fans of Francophone music’.

Fans will be pleased to watch the great Salif perform alongside Nigerian band Ayetoro, dancers from Congo, DJs from the Benin Republic and Togo and lots more.
The venue for this rare gig is the Oriental Hotel, Lekki/Epe Expressway, in Lagos.
Salif Keita who is referred to as ‘The Golden Voice of Africa’ has released over 19 albums in his years of recording music. He hails from Mali.
