Luanda — The French coach Michel Gomez was presented on Friday by the Angolan Basketball Federation (FAB) as the new coach of the national senior males team, in replacement of the Portuguese Luís Magalhães.
The former coach of French national team, who was presented in a press conference in Luanda, will be assisted by the Angolans Jaime Covilhã and Artur Barros.
The coach was signed in order to win the African Cup of Nations in basketball (Afrobasket2011) in Madagascar and thus secure the country’s qualification for the London2012 Olympic Games in England.
