Luanda — The world leader of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Ted Willson, Thursday in Luanda said that his trip to Angola, the second African country to visit, will be a great opportunity to learn about the functioning of the religious institution and put into perspective its future.
Speaking at a press conference at the 4 de Fevereiro International Airport, after his arrival, the religious leader who will be in Angola for four days, will discuss with the Seventh-day Adventist Church faithful the situation in the country, and he expects to be received by the Angolan authorities.
“It is a great opportunity to be in Angola, since it is the second African country to be visited by me, after Kenya, where I checked the Seventh-day Adventist University, and I had the privilege of being received by President of Kenya, “he said.
According to the programme of the visiting official, Pastor Ted Willson will also inaugurate the first phase of the building which will house the headquarters of the Union of northeast Angola, located in the Talatona, Luanda Sul, as well as a visit to Huambo province, home of Union of Angola Southwest Seventh Day Adventist.
